The holiday-let has been created from redundant listed farm buildings and converted in 2007. These were once part of the original Barfoot Farm yard, and lie close to the Grade II listed farmhouse and historic mill buildings on the River Stirkel. The associated mill pond is a renowned local beauty spot which can be viewed from the holiday-lets. There have been flour mills on this stretch of the River Stirkel since Norman times (mentioned in the Domesday Book).
The single storey holiday-let has a living room with open plan dining / kitchen area, including a washing machine and dishwasher. There is one twin bedroom and a one double bedroom. For the benefit of disabled access visitors, a large wet-room with a shower has been created, complete with disabled access fixtures and fittings. There are exposed timbers throughout. Private courtyard parking is available for 1-2 cars. An Access Statement is available on request.
Underfloor heating is provided throughout the holiday-let and the temperature is thermostat controlled for adjustment in each room, for your comfort. Bedding and towels are provided. Weekly prices range from £250 - £660 for the holiday-let, sleeping 4 people (5 if child), dependant on seasonal dates.
